Jo is responsible for the operations and implementation of the Australian red meat industry’s on-farm and through-chain integrity and traceability systems, including NLIS, NVDs and the LPA program.
With an agricultural upbringing and a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics (Hons) from the University of New England, Jo has worked with MLA for the past 15 years. She has been responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of industry initiatives aimed at minimising the Australian
red meat industry’s exposure to food safety, biosecurity and product integrity risks. Jo is also Chair of the International Committee for Animal Recording (ICAR) Animal ID Sub-Committee.
