Bomber Lancaster

Michael ‘Bomber” Lancaster is currently employed as the Manager, Office of the Chief Veterinary Officer, Biosecurity Queensland,  Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries. He has worked for the Department since 1990 within various roles such as Stock Inspector, Animal Welfare Project Officer, and Principal Policy Officer. Bomber has also worked in a number of locations across the State at Townsville, Mt Isa, Winton, Longreach, Brisbane and is now based in Toowoomba. 

For the past 14 years Bomber has worked within the livestock identification and traceability space for the Department and has had various roles on a number of national committees with both government and industry membership involving livestock identification and traceability. Bomber is currently responsible for the delivery of the livestock identification and traceability portfolio within the Animal Biosecurity and Welfare business group of Biosecurity Queensland
