Emily Pullen is the CEO of her family’s company Jim’s Jerky, based near Toowoomba. Founded in 2004 by her parents Jim & Cathie, Jim’s Jerky creates premium beef snacks from Australian beef.
Growing up on her family’s mixed cropping and grazing properties in Queensland, Emily has been involved in agriculture for most of her life. After studying Agronomy and working for a few years in regional Queensland, her career and travels took her to the UK where she worked for the UK Government’s Sustainable Development Commission, and with Red Tractor, one of the world’s largest full chain assurance schemes for food.
Emily is the Cattle Council of Australia’s Rising Champion for 2019, and is passionate about changing the way people think about eating beef.
